Is it me, or do love songs these days don't seem to be as good as they were back then?
Probably less cheesy? But you gotta love the melody.

I partly blame romantic love songs like this for my 'hopeless romantic' nature .___.

I wonder if men nowadays can personify this song...

When i feel stressed, i turn to music as one of my sources of solace.

Been listening to alot of Switchfoot songs again, as of late. Something about Jon Foreman's voice that touches and calms my tortured (assignment-anxiety ridden) soul.

And...its already almost the end of Week 5. 

Life's pretty much been day-to-day uni work, assignments and a pinch of volunteer work. Anyhow i'm thoroughly looking forward to Monash' annual social event of the year - *Monash Ball*. I'll be finishing up 4 assignments before that...Sweet.

As i retreat to my books at the thought of the mountainous pile of work ahead of me, I could not help but recall an epic night out i had during my holidays.

I just only managed to transfer the photos and one in particular caught my eye...

This photo could well sum up how i felt that night and the overall experience.

I have that feeling right now (: Maybe i shouldn't get too ahead of myself, but i'm feeling very optimistic about this semester. I just need a game plan and i'm all set!

I believe, involving myself in the little extras will inspire me to work harder.

Urbanscapes 2011

Well well, its already the first week of a new semester! And unfortunately, i've fallen sick! (That can be much attributed to the fact that i screamed my lungs out during the MTV World Stage concert a few days back - *note to self* MUST BLOG ABOUT IT!) I figured, hey, since i'm free and somewhat bedridden, i'll blog about Urbanscapes! I'm still being productive without moving around :D

This is a continuation from my previous post.

I'm quite happy that my shots came out decently  because half of the time i couldn't really see what i was snapping because of the glare caused by the scorching sun that day. I couldn't help myself, everything was so colorful and lively that i went trigger happy in spite of feeling like my compact camera was dwarfed by the DLSRs and Lomos lol

Literally saved this tiedye dress just for this event (: Best decision ever! Sooo comfortable and suitable for the weather (:

Best.Day.Ever!

I had a REALLY good day today.
Beyond good, actually. Words can't really describe it.
Just wanted to commemorate it in some way :D

Sneakpeak : Urbanscapes 2011

This year, I managed to attend Urbanscapes. The event was absolutely awesome. Food, Shopping and Music Galore - what more could you ask for?? Great (and not to mention, unexpected) company topped it off like a cherry on a perfect sundae (:

Black & Yellow

Yesterday was a pivotal day in Malaysia. Never have i seen or at least realized how critical these issues were in Malaysia. Perhaps i knew, but i never witnessed such rallies. I only found out that the protests were also carried out back in  2007, when the recent one was in the news. How naive i have been all this while. But honestly i choose not to become so engrossed in all this. But the fact of the matter is, i do need to be aware of what is going on.
On one hand, i feel admiration towards those people who bravely took part in the protests. On the other, i wish it wasn't necessary. I'm not one to comment on political issues. I just hope it will be resolved peacefully.

Its Result day again.

I cannot help but be a nervous wreck before checking my results. Its my third year, and i undoubtedly struggled through the first semester. Heart palpations were at an all time high when i saw streams of messages expressing feelings about exam results on Facebook, before i knew mine. Alas, i was faced with good news. Not great, but i knew it was justified in some ways. There's always room for improvement!
