First CNY that my dad actually hung lanterns

And mom lighted up the porch (not to mention, first CNY with the new porch!) with candles.

Yee Sang was delicious this year. We managed to actually wipe the whole plate clean!

First CNY in many many years where i actually wore something cheong sam (inspired).
These wiping mittens were too cute to not take pictures with!

For a few years, my dad would hold these "Drawing competitions" for us to earn extra ang paos.
Here's my drawing! Before you think i'm a Picaso (eleh), i referred to Google images for inspiration! I didn't trace though (:
If you notice the discrepancies between the qualities of the photos, good eye! (though i think its easy to spot). Some are taken with my dad's canggih camera and some are with my compact. How i wish i could dazzle my blog readers (and myself) with pretty quality photos all the time... Gosh, i'm going to save up for a decent slr when i get the chance!
I don't really look forward to going back to camp tomorrow considering i had such a nice time back home. Still in the festive mood. meh. Been sleeping late and waking up fairly late as well...uh oh.
The next time i'll be back, it'll be for my graduation! Thats 45 days from now .___.
Anyways, I hope your CNY celebrations were splendid, surrounded by family and friends.
